A magnificently wrinkly and jowled Bloodhound from Illinois won Best in Show

a satiny Maltese, and an all-Business. German Shepherd.

"There were seven lovely canines in that ring. You know, I feel like a Bloodhound can be a little dark horse on occasion. So I was totally excited."

Amazingly, Trumpet went to his most memorable canine show in January.

The second spot, or Best in Show Reserve in Westminster speech, was granted to an enchanting French bulldog named Winston.

The show, customarily held in the colder time of year at Madison Square Garden, was moved for the second year straight to Lyndhurst

It was not really equivalent to a regular year, albeit the recognizable sound of Frank Sinatra singing "New York, New York"

filled the rural air toward the finish of the night. In Midtown, around 25 miles south, the Empire State Building illuminated in purple in acknowledgment of the canine show.

With his lumbar stride and intense way, Trumpet, who is 4 years of age, may not really be the best option for spectators attracted to flashy, more lively canines.
